President's Desk

It is a great honor to continue my tenure as President of CREDAI-Kolhapur for the period 2011-2013. It is the result of faith and support shown by all the fellow members of the Association who has worked hard to build strong image of our industry in the society.

CREDAI-Kolhapur is well known for its unity and togetherness and creating prosperity with respect. It is one of the active Associations of Maharashtra in the real estate industry. Our Association has done great job for its members & customers in regards to various issues of real estate, VAT tax, modification of Bye laws, promotion of IT industry, Consumer Redressal Forum etc. We have conducted events like DALAN (property and construction material mega exhibition). Training seminar for members, study tours, participation in National Conventions (NATCON) and in social events like tree plantations etc. With the fluctuating market, increasing inflation and growing housing loan rates, buying a house has already become a dream for a middle class family. However, along with our member associations we too have already initiated and executed our efforts for the development of Affordable Housing to fulfill the dream of an average middle-class family.

With the increasing demand of infrastructure and rapid growth in Kolhapur, we feel necessary to get some modification done in byelaws of the city. In following years we will be concentrating on permission for high rise buildings, FSI related issues, city limit extension, promotion of IT sector in the city etc.

Our efforts for the beatification of the Kolhapur city and the city's promotion will continue for ever to attract more visitors, customers, investors and other companies. This will eventually bring more business in the city and will indirectly contribute for its overall development.
